The Final Countdown!

Before we leave (on Sunday, March 16th) the KSU Rotaract club would like to send a HUGE thanks to all of the Rotary clubs, family members, professors, friends, Rotarians, etc who have helped us fundraise for this trip and spread the word!
Here are some fundraisers we've done to cut down costs:
-Water bottle distribution/donation collection at Walmart (November)
-Pancake feed at Applebee's (December)
-Orange Leaf frozen yogurt night (March)
-Buffalo Wild Wings night (March)
-various donations from and presentations at Rotary clubs in Manhattan, Lindsborg, Salina, Hughoton, Kansas City, etc.

Twelve Rotaractors and a KSU geography professor are going to Guatemala, and we couldn't be more excited about the work we're about to do! Here is our official itinerary from Woodland Public Charities (the group coordinating the volunteer work).

In addition to the hands-on work, we are gathering school supplies and various donations to bring to the communities in Guatemala. If you're interested in sending any school supplies, clothing, or general donations with any of us, please contact Rachel Loder at rjloder@ksu.edu
